Aerial Photography is something I have always wanted to explore. So when the chance to fly and shoot can along I jumped on it!! I was covering a plane and car show in “Good Ole Sussex County” and inquired about public flights. So I signed up and went on my way!
So I strapped myself in the cockpit of a 1944 Stearman biplane and took off from Georgetown east towards Dewey Beach. Of course I had both my cameras suited with 15mm Fisheye lens and 70-300mm telephoto lens. I was snapping pictures like it was going outta style. Zooming in…out….switching cameras…fisheye….looking left….right…it was so exciting!!! We were cruising at about 9 thousand feet up and flew to Dewey Beach in about 10 minutes. Everything looked so interesting at that altitude. The farmland and barns looked like abstract art…the sun created crazy shadows of the tree line…it was so cool. Ewwww that farm is cool….wow look at the coastline….is that my house??? I felt like a dog in the back of a pick-up truck…yes…even the spraying snot was there too!! Aye…it was very windy up there!!!
