I believe that no matter what trends the wedding photography industry experiences, wedding photojournalism will never expire. Trends will come and go. Think about how over the years how much clothing has changed. In the last 40 years we’ve seen tied die shirts, neon, stone washed jeans and Doc Martins. The clothes that people wear simply serve as a temporary style. Remove the clothes and what are you left with? Real people…real life.
I’m sure you have seen some old school wedding photography and noticed the “awesome” heart shaped framing…or my personal favorite where the bride is pretending to sniff her spot colored bouquet at eye level while standing in front of the window! Barf. ;) Wedding photojournalists capture REAL LIFE with its raw and candid moments. We act as an observer of the wedding day and document it as it unfolds. Minimal interaction allows the wedding day’s emotions and interactions to flow naturally. It’s this flow that help me photograph real life.
Here are a few pictures from Julie and Brian’s Salero wedding in Rehoboth Beach Delaware!
This photo below was heavily photoshoped to add the cheesiness!!! Funniest part was I showed my wife this photo and she said, “Eeew that is so 90s!” lol
***Disclosure: The cheesiness of this photo does not reflect the style of Julie the Bride or my wedding photography. This was used for example purposes only. ;)***

Rob,
Just wondering if I can either quote you or put this link on my facebook Froghouse Photography page?
It say exactly what I’m working toward in my wedding photography.
Thanks so much.
