I took these engagement pics with Julie and Brian a while back. Julie had found me at the Baywood Bridal Show back in April. They are having a Salero wedding next year!

Welcome to the Journal!
My journal highlights my personal and professional adventures as a full-time wedding photojournalist! I absolutely love being a wedding photographer! My "job" is to hang out with awesome couples on the biggest day of their lives! Throughout my career I've photographed city weddings with 300 guests and small intimate Riu Ochos Rios Jamaica destination weddings with about 30 guests! My wedding photography studio is based out of Lewes Delaware, although I've traveled all over the world including Kingston Jamaica and Montego Bay Jamaica to photograph two events with Prince Charles!!!
So if you want to hang out on your wedding day, please drop me a line...even if you don't have a date set, wedding reception site picked or even if there is no fat rock on your finger! ;)

Becky and Ernie got married at Grace Church in downtown Milton, Delaware. With the reception following at Nassau Valley Vineyard.
Couldn’t have asked for a better day of weather!
The girls got ready in a classroom with very interesting art work on the walls.
Mom helps dad fix his tie.

Becky and Ernie had the place cards in little corks…pretty cool.

We had a good amount of time to shoot some bridal party pics and B&G pics.
The first dance…as husband and wife.
OK…this picture completely breaks many photography rules. But I wanted to keep their faces in the shadows and have the light hit Becky’s dress.
Plus I spent 6 loooooooonnnnngggg years in the Navy….I hate following rules!
Someone turned on a spot light which created a new light source.
The old man was soooooo cool!
This kid seems bored and a little tired.

Lauren and Dan got married at Northbeach in Dewey beach on Friday. We could not have asked for better weather! Warm with a light breeze. I do wish the sun set a bit further north….but that might be asking too much. The wedding went very smoothly and Make My Day Event Planning was a huge part of that! They did a great job with my wedding and this was the first time working with them…on the “other side!”
The morning started with make-up and hair at Bad Hair Day in Rehoboth Beach, De.
Mimosas….the breakfast of champions.
Covergirl?
Thicken those lashes up a bit.
Slip those heals on.
I hung out with the girls…shared some laughs.
I had my eye on this trailer in the middle of this field for some time now. Lauren’s mom said, “this looks like a CD cover…she also said, ” Rob…I trust you.” I was a bit nervous about her approval rating on the location of the girls portraits!
Bayside Limos laid the red carpet out to for the big entrance.
Lauren waits….

As a photographer I need to chase the light. This lamp provided me something to work with.
