Stacey don’t mess around…three days after she got that rock on her finger, I got the email! ;) So we chatted a few times about dates and locations, then finally met. It’s always a good sign when the bride rolls straight off the beach and the meeting takes place at a bar….over beers!
Stacey and Matt wanted a a mix of ocean and bay shots. So we hit the streets of Dewey Beach in Delaware for some fun engagement pictures. The sunset was perfect and Stacey and Matt were awesome. Looking forward to shooting their Rehoboth Beach Country Club wedding next June! ;)

OK as most of you know I’m more of a wedding photojournalist then anything. Although this doesn’t mean that I can’t shoot some fashion inspired wedding pictures. To be completely honest, I enjoy it a lot! The problem there never is much time after the cermeony, as we are rushed to get into cocktail hour. Then there’s Brandi. Brandi had a very unique idea for her wedding. She wanted to break all the traditions that are typical of an American wedding. Funny thing is even Adam, a London native, was a little unsure of what Brandi had in mind. Bottom line is we had almost two hours for the “First Look” before the ceremony and I LOVE having plenty of time to shoot!

Bea, Chris and I had a good old time during their rainy Old New Castle engagement pictures! So when I talked to Bea last week she said the 10 forecast was looking good! I told her not to even look at the 10 day weather forecast. Ten days is a long time and anything can happen.
Good thing is the weather was perfect for their wedding day.

In most cases I become friends with my clients after their weddings…in this case Celeste and Adam have been my friends for some time now! We’ve spent many days on the beach for “Sunday Funday”, picked crabs and we even were invited to their house warming party! So I was excited when they asked me to take some engagement pictures at the beach.
Seriously this pictures doesn’t even look like Delaware at all! That might be the highest point in the whole state of Delaware in the background!

Celeste…stop laughing so much! Haha!
