“My fiance and I are a FUN, young, crazy in love couple. We are hoping to book a site in the next two weeks…besides that, the photos are the most important element of our wedding! I LOVE photography and I have fallen IN LOVE with your style and I would really like you to take part in our special day
”
Above was the first email I received from Val back in January. Awesome, huh? Val and Jais had narrowed their reception site down to DuPont Country Club, Hotel DuPont or Greenville Country Club. We went back and forth through email for a while then I didn’t hear from them for months! I was bummed out and cried myself to sleep for about a week. lol Then 7 months later I get an email from Val asking if I was still open for her wedding date. She said there were some major changes to their wedding planning efforts and they have decided to have a Westin Key West wedding in Florida! Well, I was still open and now I’ll be taking part in their adventures in Key West Florida in March!!!!
So Val is a well respected Delaware Knottie and actually found me through another DE Knottie. Thanks Cynthia!….woooot woooot! Val has been great spreading “the good word”, and we finally met in person earlier this month for coffee. Yesterday Val, Jais and I walked around Old New Castle Delaware to “warm up” with each other and take some engagement pics. It was a bit chilly but we kept moving and got some great shots! I can’t wait to hang out again in Key West Florida for their destination wedding!!! I’m sure it will be a little warmer.

After hanging out with Sarah and Mike during their Lewes Delaware engagement pictures, I knew their wedding would be awesome! Just as I expected….it was freakin’ AWESOME! Mika and I showed up to Baywood Greens and instantly knew we were in for one heck of a night. Everything went very smooth and everyone had a blast!

Mom gets approval for her earrings.

Dad suits up for his daughter’s big day.

There goes the girls to check out the Baywood reception hall.

Mom gives the thumbs up while Sarah celebrates with Kristie.

Bro gives Mike a last minute massage before the ceremony starts.

The tears fell when Dad saw his little girl in her wedding dress for the first time.

Weather…..PERFECT!

Mike’s brothers were “something special.” lol

LOL

Baywood Greens has some awesome places to take pictures.

Sarah’s sis and bridesmaids were tearing up the dance floor!

Kristie and Clinton were a real cool couple I met that night.
I need a vest….so maybe I can dance like that!
Is that the trick, Clint?

And again…..”Gotta be the vest!”

Last call…..
“Give me 3 more beers!”

Thanks guys for letting us be a part of your awesome wedding!
Let’s do it again next year!

I’m still using my Navy college money and chipping away at my degree in Entrepreneurship. I know, I know, I should be a Doctor by now! Wedding photography, however, only allows me to take a class per semester. Not only have I been learning a lot about business, but, I was also recognized as 2008 Entrepreneurship Student of the Year. Now my “celebrity status”….cough cough….has put me in the spotlight at my college. Earlier this month, I was asked to display some of my fine art photography and present a speech for The Legacy Society.
Delaware Technical & Community College recognizes donors who generously support the College. The Legacy Society is a special group of individuals who make significant gifts to the college during their lifetime and/or have announced their intention to leave a donation to the college via a bequest or another form of planned giving. My presentation was to show The Legacy Society that their donations are being put to good use by helping students like myself.
Man, I look like I’m onto something! I’m “feeling it!”

LOL…..this is a funny picture!

Here I am explaining one of my 60×40 photographs.

All photos were taken by my trusty assistant, Michal Bobrowski, who actually interned with me for a photography class and is a recent graduate of Delaware Tech. Then, I brought him on board to be my right-hand man!

Cornelia contacted me about a week after her engagement! After seeing Nikki and Kyle’s White Clay Creek Country Club wedding she dropped me a line. Cornelia and Marc were planning on having a wedding in the fall and only had a few months to plan. So we met up for their Maryland engagement pictures and had a freakin’ blast! There were no doubts in the mind that their wedding would be awesome!
The day started out in Conowingo MD for the girls’ prep.
Dad and brother showed up for a bit and shared some laughs.

Someone had been hitting the gym!

I love when Dads see their little girls for the first time.

Everyone headed over to Beulah Church Oxford Pa for the ceremony.
The church was in the middle of cornfields on top of a hill.

“We’re getting married!”

Theeeeennnn…..we headed over to The D at Deerfield for the reception!
So 3 states later the party got started!

The family did some singing during the open mic which is a Dutch tradition!

One last photo near the water fountain outside of Deerfield before the night ended!

Have a blast in Africa, guys! “Later gator!” (lol) Right, Marc?
