My journal highlights my personal and professional adventures as a full-time wedding photojournalist! I absolutely love being a wedding photographer! My "job" is to hang out with awesome couples on the biggest day of their lives! Throughout my career I've photographed city weddings with 300 guests and small intimate Riu Ochos Rios Jamaica destination weddings with about 30 guests! My wedding photography studio is based out of Lewes Delaware, although I've traveled all over the world including Kingston Jamaica and Montego Bay Jamaica to photograph two events with Prince Charles!!!
So if you want to hang out on your wedding day, please drop me a line...even if you don't have a date set, wedding reception site picked or even if there is no fat rock on your finger! ;)

Well, as a part of my “job” as a wedding photographer it is important to educate YOU…the bride. I’m sure you are having a grand ole time {sarcasm} navigating the rough seas of wedding planning. So sit back…get your “scroll on” and take a look at these photojournalistic wedding pictures!
Like a writer, a wedding photojournalist is a reporter but he/she must often make decisions instantly and carry photographic equipment, often while exposed to significant obstacles (physical danger, weather, crowds). I don’t feel like my wedding photography is completely wedding photojournalistic. Although during a majority of your wedding day I will be practicing my documentary wedding photography style, there are parts of the day that will consist of FUN family pictures and COOL posed bride and groom pictures.
So here are some images that are considered 100% wedding photojournalistic. I was a fly on the wall and had no interaction with my subjects. I documented these events as they unfolded. Enjoy!
Lastly, I wanna give a quick shout out to two of my fave wedding photojournalist of all times! Paul Gero helped me build the foundation of what my wedding photography is today. Also he introduced me to George Weir, who became my wedding photographer and is one hell of a great guy! I owe a lot to these fine gentleman.

Ooooooohhhhhh Devon and Matt! Haha. I’ve known this crazy couple for some time now. Actually I’ve been playing volleyball with (aka spiking on) Matt for some time now. Also I photographed his sisters Nassau Valley Vineyard wedding last June. So when they finally got engaged…we knew what was next. We threw some dates around and now were are good to go.
So earlier today we met up for their Engagement pictures in Annapolis MD! Devon is originally from Annapolis and since she wears the pants in the relationship…Matt didn’t have a choose on the location of their engagement photos.
As I was driving up to the city limits of Annapolis the skies got dark and I saw a couple bolts of lighting!!! We had a couple breaks in the storms and were able to get some sweet engagement pictures!
Thanks for hangin out guys. It was hot and rainy but it was a great time!
Can’t wait until your Lewes Yacht Club wedding next year!

Wedding photography is 98% of what I shoot. Once in a while I get a request for an “anytime session.” Here was one of those cases. Doni and Bryan are eloping and wanted some nice wedding pictures to send out to family and friends as a wedding announcement! Doni contacted me after picking out her wedding dress from Tiara’s Bridal in Lewes De and seeing all my wedding photography on the walls!
So we met up at Cape Henlopen in Lewes De for an awesome session on the beach!
