It was finally time for Susan and Joe’s engagement session! We decided to head to Washington DC and hang out. We started out at the beautiful Washington Golf and Country Club and slowly worked our way to downtown DC.
Work iiiitttt…….
On the road one of Susan’s bridesmaids called so we met her at the bar!
As soon as we got outta the car Susan tried to spear tackle Joe…..
…fortunately Joe has a pretty sweet stiff arm block! lol
I knew you could do it Susan! That a girl!
Can’t wait to photograph their Rehoboth Beach Country Club at the beach!

Carrie, Brandon and I headed down to Assawoman Refuge in Southern Delaware for some engagement pictures! It was a cold windy day but it didn’t take long for them to “warm up” to the camera! (Corny joke I know…lol) We laughed almost the whole time! Good time to come for their Lewes Delaware wedding!

Above was the first email I received from Val back in January. Awesome, huh? Val and Jais had narrowed their reception site down to DuPont Country Club, Hotel DuPont or Greenville Country Club. We went back and forth through email for a while then I didn’t hear from them for months! I was bummed out and cried myself to sleep for about a week. lol Then 7 months later I get an email from Val asking if I was still open for her wedding date. She said there were some major changes to their wedding planning efforts and they have decided to have a Westin Key West wedding in Florida! Well, I was still open and now I’ll be taking part in their adventures in Key West Florida in March!!!!
So Val is a well respected Delaware Knottie and actually found me through another DE Knottie. Thanks Cynthia!….woooot woooot! Val has been great spreading “the good word”, and we finally met in person earlier this month for coffee. Yesterday Val, Jais and I walked around Old New Castle Delaware to “warm up” with each other and take some engagement pics. It was a bit chilly but we kept moving and got some great shots! I can’t wait to hang out again in Key West Florida for their destination wedding!!! I’m sure it will be a little warmer.

Kelli and Jonathan came down to Cape May New Jersey to hang out for their engagement pictures. They were my first 2009 couple and booked me waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in August 2007! So we finally got to meet in person almost a year later! We met out front of Congress Hall and had a great time exploring the side streets of Cape May. No doubt in my mind that their Congress Hall wedding will be a blast!
Not sure what the heck this thing was!
