I’ve known Nick for probably 10 years now. We always run into each other now and again. Well last year I saw him again at Joanna and Ryan’s Greenville Country Club wedding! He introduced me to his wonderful girlfriend Tiffany (one of Joanna’s bridesmaids) whom he had only been dating for a couple months. While at the wedding, Nick took a fabulous shot of me posing like I was drinking tea. lol (See below.) Fast forward about 6 months. Kim and I were driving around up north trying to find a nice sushi place. While driving I saw Nick, and we got talking about this and that. He mentioned he was going to Costa Rica with Tiff and “he might be contacting me soon!” After we pulled off…Kim and I both turned to each other and said, “He’s going to propose to her!!!” Well shortly after his return from Costa Rica, I get the call….I guess Tiff said yes!!!
We recently met up at Rockwood Park for their engagement pictures. We walked around and chit chatted about the good ole days. It’s great when I get into a group of freinds and shoot all their weddings! This weekend I’ll be shooting Casey and Ryan’s wedding. I’ll be sure to see Nick, Tiff, Joanna and Ryan….and some other friends! It’s great!

Delaware is such a small state that you hear the saying “A friend of a friend” a lot! Krista Googled “photography in Delaware” and found my wedding site. She started seeing several of her friends and other people she knew that I’ve photographed.
So Krista and Adam came down from Wilmington to meet up for their engagement pictures in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. The weather was awesome and we walked around town shootin’. They eventually got relaxed in front of the camera and might have a career in modeling some day! lol

This dog was just chillin.
“What do you want from me?” says the dog.
Thanks guys for hanging out…your Rehoboth Beach Country Club wedding is going to ROCK! Oh, and hurry up and move your butts to the beach!

So back in August 2007, I get a random MySpace message from a girl named Jillian. She told me she found me through her old roommate’s MySpace page. Also, I was shooting her friend’s wedding in the coming months. “Love your pics and I hope to use your services at some point.” Soooooooo, after she got that fat rock on her finger I got the email title “I’m engaged!” She asked about my availability for a couple dates and now “It’s on like Donkey Kong!”
We met up at Que Pasa in Dewey Beach for a couple drinks before the big photo shoot. We had a great time walking around Dewey and being goofy. I have no doubts that their Wilmington Country Club wedding will be awesome!
Within the first minute I realized how the day was going to unfold! Joe started walking away and I asked him, “Where are you going Joe?” He quickly replied, “Rob….I’m working it for the camera!” LOL
A group of people walked by us and somehow Joe was able to convince them to give him this beach ball!
Jill and Joe picked Dewey for their engagement pictures because they spent many summers at the beach. Bottle and Cork is one of their faves!

Casey contacted me after seeing Joanna and Ryan’s Valley Gardens engagement pictures! Joanna was showing her the engagement pictures, and I guess Casey liked them! Come to find out I used to hang out with them back in the day…..”which was a Wednesday by the way.” Any Dane Cook fans out there? Delaware is so small that I often run into people I know at weddings. Growing up in Wilmington really helps the wedding business…many times I get emails saying, “Hey you shot so and so’s wedding!” Also on top of that…..there were two other brides interested in Casey and Brian’s wedding day, too! So I emailed Casey telling her and she emailed me back in about two hours and told me she would be calling me in the morning to finalize everything!
Anywhooo…it was time for Casey and Brian’s engagement pictures! We met up at Gibraltar in Delaware and the fun began. We walked around the Gardens at Gibraltar and chit chatted about wedding planning and the old days!
