After moving to southern Delaware, Kim and I met Stacy and Johnny at marriage prep classes before our wedding. The joke was that I go to marriage prep classes every week to book more weddings! We chit-chatted, and they invited us out to Striper Bites in Lewes Delaware for some drinks! Then, we got invited to Sunday Funday volleyball, too! And the rest is history…
It was finally time to do a Trash the Dress session with them. They met each other in their teens while lifeguarding at Cape Henlopen State Park. So, it was a given that we would head on over to CHSP for some Trash the Dress pics!
This is my fave….the sky was amazing!
OK…..I had my Canon speedlight on a stand with an umbrella. The wind blew it over as I was taking the photo, and Stacy & Johnny’s facial expressions were hilarious!!!
I even got wet and some of my gear did, too! Talk about “Trash the Photographer!” lol
It’s tough to walk on the beach in a wedding dress, huh Stace?

Janet expressed that she’d be interested in doing some Trash the Dress pictures after her Delaware beach wedding! Well, she had been working her butt off on the TheKnot.com forums, and has contributed to helping me book 9 weddings so far! So when she asked how much….I said, “Paleeeeeaaaaseee Janet…..it’s on me!” I picked Janet and Chris up at Gordon’s Pond and headed to Cape Henlopen State Park for some pictures. We drove around the park and ended the night in the ocean! We had a blast working together…again!!!

After a two-week journey in San Diego I headed to the Big Island for a Hawaii wedding. My Hawaii adventures included a Big Island helicopter tour, spear fishing, cliff jumping, snorkeling…..oh and of course, the Hawaii wedding. I also set up a photoshoot with a local Kona girl for a Trash the Dress session….Hawaiian style! We had a blast and created some awesome pictures together!!!

After a long awaited photoshoot in San Diego…we finally headed to Anza-Borrego Desert. This was something I’ve wanted to do for some time now. Our adventure started a bit late but we finally made it to the desert just before sunset.
Here was some tricky flash work.
